There is something seriously wrong when three people are pulling an entire company’s tasking for fifteen days. Three people who work in an already grossly understaffed office- an office which has a nation-wide mission, and who work a sixty-hour work week. Especially when the company has plenty of people who are perfectly capable of doing it.
We apparently value peoples’ personal/drinking time over vital mission readiness and impact.
There is also something seriously wrong when any attempts at bringing this up to senior leadership get completely shot down for whatever reason they feel like using this time. Whether they just don’t care or are completely inept I don’t know. It’s frustrating either way. These next eighty-three days cannot go by fast enough.
